We work with only the best pilots in the industry. Our 292-person team is made up of 57 pilots, each of whom has been carefully selected from the best in the profession. Our pilots have an average “pilot-in-charge” history of 7,500 hours and are required to complete annual factory recurrent training and quarterly pilot performance reviews. Blue Hawaiian is also the only helicopter tour company in Hawaii with its own state-of-the-art flight simulator for advanced continued pilot education. In addition to their piloting excellence, our pilots are also certified State of Hawaii Tour Guides, meaning that each has an exceptional knowledge of Hawaiian history, culture, flora, and fauna.
